Former town hall (Mairie) of Campel

Campel , in Breton "Kempel" and in Gallo "Caunpèu", is a village and a commune déléguée in the French commune Val d'Anast with 493 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Ille-et-Vilaine department in the region Brittany . The residents call themselves Campellois .

With effect from January 1, 2017, Campel was merged with Maure-de-Bretagne to form Commune nouvelle Val d'Anast. The municipality of Campel belonged to the Arrondissement of Redon and the canton of Guichen ( canton of Maure-de-Bretagne until 2015 ).

geography

As a former municipality, it bordered in the north on Maxent , in the east on Bovel and in the southeast, south and west on Maure-de-Bretagne . The settlement area is on average 80 meters above sea level.
