The Montagné is a river in France that runs in the Loire-Atlantique department in the Pays de la Loire region . It rises under the name Les Aniers on the municipal boundary of Teillé and Trans-sur-Erdre and seeps into the subsurface in the upper reaches over a length of about one kilometer. It changes its name to Les Brosses , reaches the town of Trans-sur-Erdre and is now called Ruisseau de Montagné . It generally drains south-west to south and finally flows into the Erdre as a left tributary after a total of around 20 kilometers at the municipal boundary of Nort-sur-Erdre and Petit-Mars . In the mouth section it bears the name Verdier .
