Anetz ( Breton : Arned ) is a town and commune Déléguée in the French community Vair-sur-Loire with 2,066 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loire-Atlantique in the Region Pays de la Loire . The inhabitants are called Anetziens .

Since January 1, 2016, it has merged with the former municipality of Saint-Herblon and is part of the Commune nouvelle Vair-sur-Loire. It belonged to the Arrondissement of Ancenis and the Canton of Ancenis .

Anetz is about 42 kilometers east-northeast of Nantes halfway to Angers .
