Bécon-les-Granits is a western French municipality with 2803 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Maine-et-Loire in the region of Pays de la Loire . Bécon-les-Granits belongs to the Segré and was part of the canton of Le Louroux-Béconnais until March 2015 , since March 2015 the municipality has been part of the canton of Chalonnes-sur-Loire . The inhabitants are called Béconnais .

geography

Bécon-les-Granits is about 18 kilometers west-northwest of Angers . Surrounded Bécon-les-Granits of the neighboring communities Erdre-en-Anjou in the north, Saint-Clément-de-la-Place in the Northeast, Saint-Lambert-la-Potherie in the east and southeast, Saint-Leger-de-Linières with Saint-Léger-des-Bois in the south-east, Saint-Augustin-des-Bois in the south, Villemoisan in the south-west and Val d'Erdre-Auxence in the north-west.

The former route nationale 163 (today's D963) runs through the municipality .
