Villemoisan Town Hall

Villemoisan is a town and commune Déléguée in the western French commune Val d'Erdre Auxence with 669 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Maine-et-Loire in the region of Pays de la Loire The inhabitants are Villemoisanais called.

The municipality of Villemoisan merged with Le Louroux-Béconnais and La Cornuaille on December 15, 2016 to form the new municipality of Val d'Erdre-Auxence. It belonged to the Angers and the canton of Chalonnes-sur-Loire (until 2015: canton Le Louroux-Béconnais ).

Villemoisan is located about 35 kilometers west-northwest of Angers on the Croissel .

The former Route nationale 163 (today's D963) runs through the Commune déléguée .
