Chambellay is a French municipality with 403 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Canton Tiercé (2015: District of Le Lion d'Angers ) in Arrondissement Segré in the department of Maine-et-Loire and the region Pays de la Loire . The inhabitants are called Cambolitains .

geography

Chambellay is located about 29 kilometers north-northwest of Angers on the Mayenne River in the Segréen . Chambellay is surrounded by the neighboring communities of La Jaille-Yvon in the north, Chenillé-Champteussé in the east, Montreuil-sur-Maine in the south and Segré-en-Anjou Bleu in the west.
