Saint-Léger-des-Bois is a village and a commune Déléguée in the French commune of Saint-Léger-de-Linières , with 1,771 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Maine-et-Loire in the region of Pays de la Loire . The inhabitants are called Légérois .
The municipality of Saint-Léger-des-Bois merged with Saint-Jean-de-Linières on January 1, 2019 to form the Commune nouvelle Saint-Léger-de-Linières. Since then it has had the status of a Commune déléguée. The municipality of Saint-Léger-des-Bois was part of the Arrondissement of Angers and the canton of Angers-3 (until 2015: canton of Saint-Georges-sur-Loire ).

The municipality of Saint-Léger-des-Bois was surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Bécon-les-Granits in the north and north-west, Saint-Lambert-la-Potherie in the north and north-east, Saint-Jean-de-Linières in the east, Saint-Martin- du-Fouilloux in the south and Saint-Augustin-des-Bois in the west.
The A11 autoroute runs through the Commune déléguée .
