Le Plessis-Mace is a town and commune Déléguée in the French community Longuenée-en-Anjou with 1,299 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Maine-et-Loire in the region of Pays de la Loire . The inhabitants are called Plessis-Macéen (ne) s .

With effect from January 1, 2016, the communes of La Meignanne , La Membrolle-sur-Longuenée , Le Plessis-Macé and Pruillé were merged to form a commune nouvelle called Longuenée-en-Anjou. The municipality of Le Plessis-Macé belonged to the arrondissement of Angers and the canton of Angers-4 (until 2015: canton of Angers-Nord ).
