Saint-Martin-de-la-Place is a town and commune Déléguée in the French commune of Gennes-Val-de-Loire with 1,154 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Maine-et-Loire in the region of Pays de la Loire . The inhabitants are called Saint-Martiniens .
With effect from January 1, 2018, the communes of Les Rosiers-sur-Loire and Saint-Martin-de-la-Place joined the Commune nouvelle Gennes-Val-de-Loire . The municipality of Saint-Martin-de-la-Place belonged to the Arrondissement of Saumur and the canton of Longué-Jumelles (until 2015: canton of Saumur-Nord ).
