Notre-Dame-d'Allençon is a town and commune Déléguée in the French community Terranjou with 718 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Maine-et-Loire in the region of Pays de la Loire . The inhabitants are called Allençonnais .
The municipality of Notre-Dame-d'Allençon merged with Chavagnes and Martigné-Briand to form the new municipality of Terranjou on January 1, 2017 . It belonged to the Arrondissement of Angers and the canton of Chemillé-Melay (until 2015: canton of Thouarcé ).
