The Quartermain Point is a prominent headland at the Borchgrevink Coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It marks the eastern limit of the mouth of the Burnette Glacier in the northern part of Moubray Bay between Helm Point and Cape Roget .
Participants of a 1957-1958 campaign of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition named the headland after the New Zealand historian Lester Bowden Quartermain (1895-1973), founder and president of the New Zealand Antarctic Society .
