Audi Q5

The Audi Q5 is a Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) from the vehicle manufacturer Audi . It is the second SUV from Audi after the Audi Q7 . The Audi Q3 (2011), Audi Q2 (2016) and Audi Q8 (2018) followed later . The first generation, the Q5 8R , was produced at Audi in Ingolstadt . Audi built its own plant in Mexico for the second generation, the Q5 FY , where the vehicle rolls off the assembly line.

In 2017, the Q5 won the Golden Steering Wheel in the Large SUV category .

Registration numbers

Since the market launch in 2008 up to and including December 2019, a total of 247,712 Audi Q5s have been newly registered in the Federal Republic of Germany. 2016 was the most successful sales year with 26,727 units.
