Chaudron-en-Mauges is a town and commune Déléguée in the French community Montrevault-sur-Èvre with 1,448 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Maine-et-Loire in the region of Pays de la Loire . The inhabitants called Caldéronnais .
With effect from December 15, 2015, the municipalities of Chaudron-en-Mauges, La Boissière-sur-Èvre , La Chaussaire , Le Fief-Sauvin , Le Fuilet , Montrevault , Le Puiset-Doré , Saint-Pierre-Montlimart , Saint-Quentin -en-Mauges , Saint-Rémy-en-Mauges and La Salle-et-Chapelle-Aubry have been merged into a nouvelle commune called Montrevault-sur-Èvre. The municipality of Chaudron-en-Mauges belonged to the arrondissement of Cholet and the canton of Beaupréau (until 2015: canton of Montrevault ).
