Somloire is a French municipality with 889 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Maine-et-Loire in the region of Pays de la Loire . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Cholet and the Canton of Cholet-2 (until 2015: Canton Vihiers ). The inhabitants are called Somloirais .
geography
Somloire is about 25 kilometers east of Cholet in the Mauges . The Ouère flows through the municipality . Somloire is surrounded by the neighboring communities
- La Plaine in the north,
- Saint-Paul-du-Bois in the northeast,
- Saint Maurice Étusson with Saint-Maurice-la-Fougereuse in the east and Étusson in the south and southeast,
