Étusson is a commune Déléguée in the French commune of Saint Maurice Étusson with 334 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Deux-Sèvres in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine .

With effect from January 1, 2016, it merged with Saint-Maurice-la-Fougereuse to form Commune nouvelle Saint Maurice Étusson . Since then it has had the status of a Commune déléguée. The municipality of Étusson belonged to the Arrondissement Bressuire and the Canton of Mauléon .

Neighboring towns are Somloire in the north-west, Saint-Maurice-la-Fougereuse in the north-east, Argenton-les-Vallées in the east, Saint-Clémentin in the south-east, Nueil-les-Aubiers in the south and Les Cerqueux in the south-west. There are small lakes in the center of Étusson . The area is crossed by the river Ouère .
