The Canton Mauléon is a French constituency in Arrondissement Bressuire in Deux-Sevres in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine ; its main town is Mauléon . Philippe Brémond ( DVD ) has been a representative in the General Council of the Département since 2009 .

Until the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons in March 2015, the canton of Mauléon included the five municipalities of La Petite-Boissière , Mauléon , Nueil-les-Aubiers , Saint-Amand-sur-Sèvre and Saint-Pierre-des-Échaubrognes . Its layout corresponded to an area of ​​293.67 km 2 . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 7909.
