The Canton Niort-Ouest was 2015 a French canton in the Arrondissement of Niort , in the Deux-Sevres and in the region of Poitou-Charentes ; its main place was Niort . The last representative in the Conseil Général des Départements was Gérard Zabatta ( PS ) from 1998 to 2015 .
geography
The canton was located in the southeast of the Deux-Sèvres department. In the west and north-west it bordered the Vendée department , in the north-east on the canton Niort-Nord , in the east on the canton Niort-Est , in the south-east on the canton Prahecq and in the south and south-west on the canton Frontenay-Rohan-Rohan .
