The Canton Parthenay is a French constituency in Arrondissement Parthenay in Deux-Sevres in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine ; its main town is Parthenay . Gilbert Favreau has been a representative in the General Council of the Department since 1998 (initially DVD , now UMP ).
