The canton Mazières-en-Gâtine was a French canton in the Arrondissement Parthenay , in the Deux-Sèvres department and in the Poitou-Charentes region until 2015 ; its capital was Mazières-en-Gâtine . Jean-Marie Morisset ( UMP ) was the last representative in the General Council of the Département from 1988 to 2015 .
