Soutiers is a commune Déléguée in the French commune of Saint-Pardoux-Soutiers with 276 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Deux-Sèvres in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine .
The municipality of Soutiers merged with Saint-Pardoux to form the Commune nouvelle Saint-Pardoux-Soutiers on January 1, 2019 . Since then it has had the status of a Commune déléguée. The municipality of Soutiers was part of the Parthenay arrondissement and the La Gâtine canton (until 2015: Mazières-en-Gâtine canton ).

Soutiers is located about eight kilometers south-southwest of Parthenay and 31 kilometers north-northeast of Niort . The municipality of Soutiers was surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Le Tallud in the north and northwest, Pompaire in the northeast, Beaulieu-sous-Parthenay in the east, Vouhé in the south and southeast and Saint-Pardoux in the west.
