The Canton Bressuire is a French constituency in the same Arrondissement Bressuire in Deux-Sevres in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine ; its main town is Bressuire . Estelle Gerbaud ( DVD ) has been the representative in the General Council of the Department since 2013 .

Until the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons in March 2015, the canton of Bressuire included the four municipalities Boismé , Bressuire , Chiché and Faye-l'Abbesse . Its layout corresponded to an area of 288.65 km 2 . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 7904.
