La Chapelle-Gaudin is a commune Déléguée in the French community Argentonnay with 258 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Deux-Sevres in the former region of Poitou-Charentes (since 2016: Nouvelle-Aquitaine ). The municipality of La Chapelle-Gaudin belonged to the arrondissement of Bressuire and the canton of Bressuire (until 2015: canton of Saint-Varent ). On January 1, 2016, the commune of Argentonnay was formed from the former communes of La Chapelle-Gaudin, Argenton-les-Vallées , Le Breuil-sous-Argenton , La Coudre , Moutiers-sous-Argenton and Ulcot .
