Ulcot is a village in the French department of Deux-Sèvres in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The formerly independent municipality was merged with Argenton-les-Vallées , Le Breuil-sous-Argenton , La Chapelle-Gaudin , La Coudre and Moutiers-sous-Argenton to form Commune nouvelle Argentonnay with effect from January 1, 2016 . Since then, it has had the status of a commune déléguée with 58 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017). Former neighboring communities were Genneton in the west, Cersay in the north, Massais in the east and south and Le Breuil-sous-Argenton in the southwest.
