Boismé is a French commune with 1,200 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Deux-Sèvres in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016: Poitou-Charentes ). It belongs to the Arrondissement Bressuire and the Canton of Bressuire .

Boismé is about eight kilometers southeast of Bressuire . Boismé is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Bressuire in the north and northwest, Chiché in the east, Clessé in the southeast, La Chapelle-Saint-Laurent in the south and southwest and Chanteloup in the west.
