Chanteloup is about eight kilometers south-southwest of the city center of Bressuire . Chanteloup is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Bressuire in the north, Boismé in the east, La Chapelle-Saint-Laurent in the east and south-east, Pugny in the south, Moncoutant in the west and south-west and Courlay in the west and north-west.
