Le Retail is a French municipality with 278 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Deux-Sèvres in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016: Poitou-Charentes ). It belongs to the Parthenay arrondissement and the La Gâtine canton (until 2015: Secondigny canton ). The inhabitants are called retaillons .

Le Retail is about 15 kilometers southwest of Parthenay . Le Retail is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Secondigny in the north, Allonne in the east, Pamplie in the south and Fenioux in the west and south-west.
