Boussais is a French municipality with 457 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Deux-Sèvres in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It belongs to the Arrondissement Parthenay and the canton Le Val de Thouet (until 2015: canton Airvault ).

location

Boussais is about 18 kilometers east of Bressuire and about 20 kilometers north of Parthenay . Boussais is surrounded by the neighboring communities Glénay in the north, Airvault in the northeast, Tessonière in the east, Maisontiers in the south, Amailloux in the southwest, Chiché in the west and southwest and Faye-l'Abbesse in the west.
