Vautebis is a French commune in the department of Deux-Sèvres in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016: Poitou-Charentes ). It has 114 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) and belongs to the Parthenay district and the La Gâtine canton (until 2015: Ménigoute canton ). The inhabitants are called Vautebitiens .

geography

Vautebis is located about 14 kilometers south-southeast of Parthenay and about 33 kilometers northeast of Niort in the Gâtine . Vautebis is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Vausseroux in the north and east, Les Châteliers with Chantecorps in the south and Reffannes in the west.
