The Canton Ménigoute was 2015 a French constituency in Arrondissement Parthenay , in Deux-Sevres and in the region of Poitou-Charentes ; its main town was Ménigoute . Didier Gaillard ( DVD ) was the last representative in the General Council of the Département from 2011 to 2015 .

The canton Ménigoute was 233.52 km² and had 4,507 inhabitants ( as of 1999 ), which corresponded to a population density of 19 inhabitants per km². It was on average at 211 meters above sea ​​level , between 122 meters in Ménigoute and 271 meters in Saint-Martin-du-Fouilloux .
