The District of Celles-sur-Belle is a French constituency in Arrondissement of Niort in Deux-Sevres in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine ; its main town is Celles-sur-Belle . Chantal Brillaud and Jean-Claude Mazin (both DVG ) have been representatives in the General Council of the Département since 2015 .

Until the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons in March 2015, the canton of Celles-sur-Belle included the nine municipalities of Aigonnay , Beaussais-Vitré , Celles-sur-Belle , Fressines , Mougon , Prailles , Sainte-Blandine , Saint-Médard and Thorigné . Its layout corresponded to an area of 165.33 km 2 . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 7906.
Changes in the community since the nationwide reorganization of the cantons
2019:
- Merger of Aigonnay , Mougon-Thorigné and Sainte-Blandine → Aigondigné
- Merger of Celles-sur-Belle and Saint-Médard → Celles-sur-Belle
- Fusion of La Couarde and Prailles → Prailles-La Couarde
2017: Merger of Mougon and Thorigné → Mougon-Thorigné
