Exoudun is a French municipality with 576 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Deux-Sèvres in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Niort and the canton of Celles-sur-Belle (until 2015: canton of La Mothe-Saint-Héray ). The inhabitants are called Exoudunnois .

geography

Exoudun is located about 40 kilometers southwest of Poitiers on the Sèvre Niortaise . Exoudun is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Bougon in the north, Avon in the northeast, Chenay in the east, Chey in the southeast, Sepyret in the south, Prailles-La Couarde with La Couarde in the southwest and La Mothe-Saint-Héray in the west.
