Limalonges is a French municipality with 834 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Deux-Sèvres in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Niort and is part of the canton of Melle (until 2015: canton of Sauzé-Vaussais ).

Limalonges is the easternmost municipality in the Deux-Sèvres department. It is located about 52 kilometers east-southeast of Niort . Limalonges is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Chaunay and Linazay in the north, Saint-Saviol in the east and northeast, Saint-Macoud in the southeast, Montalembert in the south, Sauzé-Vaussais in the west and Pliboux in the northwest.

The route nationale 10 and the former route nationale 148 (today's D948) intersect in the municipality .
