Sainte-Eanne is a French municipality with 613 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Deux-Sèvres in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016: Poitou-Charentes ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Niort and the Canton of Saint-Maixent-l'École (until 2015: Canton of Saint-Maixent-l'École-2 ). The inhabitants are called Emmeranais .

Sainte-Eanne is located about 23 kilometers east-northeast of Niort on the Pamproux . Sainte-Eanne is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Nanteuil in the north, Soudan in the northeast, Salles in the east, La Mothe-Saint-Héray in the south, Souvigné in the southwest and Saint-Martin-de-Saint-Maixent in the west.
