Peter Morwitzer

Peter Morwitzer (born September 3, 1954 ) is a top civil servant in Lower Austria ; from December 1, 2004 to December 1, 2016, he was head of the building management group in the office of the Lower Austrian provincial government .

Life

Peter Morwitzer joined after graduation and studying at the Technical University of Vienna and the graduation to engineer a March 10, 1980 in the Lower Austrian service. Here he worked in the construction, agricultural and transport technology department and in July 2002 he was appointed head of this department.

From December 1, 2004 to December 1, 2016, he succeeded Peter Kunerth as head of the building management group in the office of the Lower Austrian state government . Walter Steinacker succeeds him .

In 1993 he was also elected chairman of the agency staff representation of the Lower Austrian state government, and in 1994 he was elected member of the central staff representation and chairman of the trade union works committee.

In addition to his civil service, he was chairman of the SC Landhaus from 2000 to 2010 and was subsequently appointed honorary chairman of the association. Peter Morwitzer is a member of the ÖAAB Hausleiten, where he was chairman for almost ten years.

Peter Morwitzer lives in Hausleiten . Due to his position and seniority, he has the official title of Hofrat .
