Fontenille-Saint-Martin-d'Entraigues is a French municipality with 547 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Deux-Sèvres in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ). It belongs to the Arrondissement Niort and is part of the canton Melle (until 2015 Chef-Boutonne ).
The municipality consists of the localities of Fontenille , Saint-Martin-d'Entraigues , Couturette and Rhy . In 1973 the previously independent municipalities of Fontenille and Saint-Martin-d'Entraigues were combined to form today's municipality.

Fontenille-Saint-Martin-d'Entraigues is about 41 kilometers southeast of Niort . Fontenille-Saint-Martin-d'Entraigues is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Luché-sur-Brioux in the north and north-west, Tillou in the north, Chef-Boutonne in the east and north-east, La Bataille in the south-east, Crézières in the south, and Paizay-le-Chapt in the southwest and Chérigné in the west.
