Puihardy is a French commune with a population of 61 (as at 1st January 2017) in the department of Deux-Sèvres in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016: Poitou-Charentes ). The municipality is located in the Arrondissement of Niort and in the canton of Autize-Égray (until 2015: canton of Coulonges-sur-l'Autize ).

Puihardy is about 30 kilometers west-southwest of Parthenay . The Saumort River runs along the eastern border of the municipality. Puihardy is surrounded by the neighboring communities of La Chapelle-Thireuil in the north, Fenioux in the east and northeast and Ardin in the south and west.
