La Chapelle-Thireuil is a commune Déléguée in the French commune of Beugnon-Thireuil with 441 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Deux-Sèvres in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016: Poitou-Charentes ).

The municipality of La Chapelle-Thireuil merged with Le Beugnon to form the Commune nouvelle Beugnon-Thireuil on January 1, 2019 . Since then it has had the status of a Commune déléguée. The municipality of La Chapelle-Thireuil belonged to the Arrondissement of Niort and the Canton of Autize-Égray (until 2015: Canton of Coulonges-sur-l'Autize ).

La Chapelle-Thireuil is about 30 kilometers west-southwest of Parthenay on the right bank of the Saumort River . The municipality of La Chapelle-Thireuil was surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Le Busseau in the north and west, Scillé in the north, Vernoux-en-Gâtine in the northeast, Le Beugnon in the east and northeast, Fenioux in the east, Puihardy in the south and southeast, Ardin in the south as well as Saint-Laurs in the south and south-west.
