Fenioux is a French municipality with 644 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Deux-Sèvres in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The municipality is located in the Arrondissement of Niort and in the canton of Autize-Égray (until 2015: canton of Coulonges-sur-l'Autize ). The inhabitants are called Feniousiens .

location

Fenioux is about 63 kilometers west of Poitiers and about 25 kilometers north of Niort . The Saumort river runs along the western boundary of the municipality . Fenioux is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Le Beugnon in the north, Secondigny in the northeast, Le Retail in the east and northeast, Pamplie in the east, Xaintray and Béceleuf in the south, Ardin in the southwest, Puihardy in the west and southwest and La Chapelle-Thireuil in the west.
