Le Beugnon is a commune Déléguée in the French commune of Beugnon-Thireuil with 285 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Deux-Sèvres in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016: Poitou-Charentes ). The inhabitants are called Beugnonnais .

The municipality of Le Beugnon merged with La Chapelle-Thireuil on January 1, 2019 to form the Commune nouvelle Beugnon-Thireuil. Since then it has had the status of a Commune déléguée. The municipality of Le Beugnon belonged to the Arrondissement of Niort and the canton of Autize-Égray (until 2015: canton of Coulonges-sur-l'Autize ).

Le Beugnon is about 18 kilometers west-southwest of Parthenay . The municipality of Le Beugnon was surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Vernoux-en-Gâtine in the north and west, Secondigny in the east and northeast, Fenioux in the south, La Chapelle-Thireuil in the southwest and Scillé in the west.
