Séligné is a French municipality with 115 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Deux-Sèvres in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Niort and is part of the canton of Mignon-et-Boutonne ( Brioux-sur-Boutonne until 2015 ).

Séligné is about 29 kilometers southeast of Niort . Séligné is surrounded by the neighboring communities Vernoux-sur-Boutonne in the north and northeast, Brioux-sur-Boutonne in the east, Villefollet in the south, Brieuil-sur-Chizé in the southwest and Secondigné-sur-Belle in the west and northwest.
