Villiers-sur-Chizé is a French municipality with 160 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the department of Deux-Sèvres in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Niort and the canton of Mignon-et-Boutonne ( Brioux-sur-Boutonne until 2015 ).

Villiers-sur-Chizé is about 37 kilometers south-southeast of Niort . Villiers-sur-Chizé is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Brieuil-sur-Chizé in the north and north-west, Villefollet in the north and north-east, Ensigné in the east, La Villedieu in the south and Chizé in the west.
