La Foye-Monjault is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Vallans in the north, Granzay-Gript in the north and northeast, Beauvoir-sur-Niort in the east, Plaine-d'Argenson in the south and southeast, Val-du-Mignon and Usseau in the south and southwest and La Rochénard to the west.
The A10 autoroute runs along the south-eastern edge of the municipality .
