Plaine-d'Argenson is a French municipality with 966 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Deux-Sèvres in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Niort and the Canton of Mignon-et-Boutonne .
Plaine-d'Argenson was created as Commune nouvelle with effect from January 1, 2018 from the merger of the previous municipalities of Belleville , Boisserolles , Prissé-la-Charrière and Saint-Étienne-la-Cigogne .
