Belleville is a commune Déléguée in the French municipality of Plaine-d'Argenson with 130 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the department of Deux-Sèvres in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The inhabitants are called Bellevillois .

On January 1, 2018, Belleville merged with Boisserolles , Prissé-la-Charrière and Saint-Étienne-la-Cigogne to form the new municipality of Plaine-d'Argenson. The municipality of Belleville belonged to the Arrondissement Niort and the canton of Mignon-et-Boutonne .

Belleville is about 22 kilometers south of Niort .
