Clussais-la-Pommeraie is a French municipality with 590 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Deux-Sèvres in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Niort and is part of the canton of Melle ( Sauzé-Vaussais until 2015 ).

Clussais-la-Pommeraie is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Coutant and Sainte-Soline in the north, Pers in the northeast, Caunay in the east, Mairé-Levescault in the east and southeast, La Chapelle-Pouilloux and Melleran in the south, Alloinay in the southwest and Saint -Vincent-la-Châtre to the west and north-west.
