Amuré is located in the Saintonge countryside on the edge of the Marais Poitevin . Amuré is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Sansais in the north, Frontenay-Rohan-Rohan in the east, Épannes in the south and south-east, Le Bourdet in the south and south-west and Saint-Georges-de-Rex in the west and north-west.
