Cherveux is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Christophe-sur-Roc and La Chapelle-Bâton in the north, Augé in the east and northeast, Azay-le-Brûlé in the east, La Crèche in the southeast, François and Saint-Gelais in the south, Échire in the Southwest, Germond-Rouvre to the west and northwest and Champdeniers to the northwest.
