Crézières is a commune Déléguée in the French commune of Chef-Boutonne with 38 inhabitants (as at 1st January 2017) in the department of Deux-Sèvres in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ).

The municipality of Crézières merged with Chef-Boutonne , La Bataille and Tillou on January 1, 2019 to form the Commune nouvelle Chef-Boutonne. Since then it has had the status of a Commune déléguée. The municipality of Crézières belonged to the Arrondissement Niort and is part of the canton of Melle (until 2015 Chef-Boutonne ).

geography

Crézières is about 40 kilometers south-east of Niort . The municipality of Crézières was surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Fontenille-Saint-Martin-d'Entraigues in the north, Aubigné in the south and east and Paizay-le-Chapt in the west and southwest.
