Linazay is a French municipality with 225 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Vienne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Montmorillon and the canton of Civray . The inhabitants are called Linazéens .
location
Linazay is about 63 kilometers south-southwest of Poitiers . Linazay is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Champagné-le-Sec in the north, Saint-Pierre-d'Exideuil in the east and northeast, Saint-Saviol in the east and southeast, Limalonges in the south and Chaunay in the west and northwest.
