Voulême is a French municipality with 378 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Vienne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Montmorillon and the canton of Civray . The inhabitants are called Voulêmois .

location

Voulême is located about 58 kilometers south-southwest of Poitiers on the Charente River . Voulême is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Macoux in the north, Saint-Gaudent in the east and northeast, Lizant in the east and southeast, Taizé-Aizie in the south, Les Adjots in the southwest and Montalembert in the west.
